This is a hiking tour in combination to two activities which are visit Soni waterfalls and finalize with Sakharani wine tasting.

You will be transfered from your lodge to Lushoto bus terminal where you will board a public passenger buses till Soni minor town. You will drop-off and start descending to Soni waterfalls.

The Soni waterfalls is one amongst beautiful waterfalls found at Usambara mountains. The mkuzu river connect to bangala river that forms huge water volumes that falls to beautiful Usambara valleys till they reach Soni cliff dropoff point which makes a stunning waterfalls.

Stay here for while then start your ascending via beautiful gardens and nature surrounded by butterflies and colourful birds of Maweni farms. Pass through spices and coffee plantations go uphill till you reach Sakharani vineyard.

Your guide will pass you through the vineyard and grown macadamia nuts plants.

On this tour you will learn about different stages of wine making.

Your lunch will be served here before the wine tasting session begins.

The tasting is the combination of sipping, swirling and tasting the locally produced wines while understanding how a grape travels from a vine to a bottle.

Being here at Sakharani you will have the chance to buy at bottle of Usambara wine and macadamia nuts for your personal usage.

We then descend downhill back to Soni minor town passing through Mbelei village. Upon reaching Soni we will board a public passenger bus to Lushoto town. You will then be transfered back to your Lodge.

That will be the end of your Usambara wine tasting and Soni waterfalls.
