On this day tour you will pay a visit to local juicy and beer producers at Magamba village, pass through Mkussu forest reserve and proceed up to Kwemashai viewpoint where your picnic lunch will be served on this tranquil viewpoint. You will then descend down to stunning Kisasa waterfalls passing through Vuli and Dochi villages. This tour starts at Anmut building premises closest place to the Mkussu forest where the tour will start and ends at Lushoto town, the transfer to the hike starting point is included.

Take your early breakfast at your hotel then board awaiting transfer to the hike starting place. You will start your hike at 09:00 through Magamba village passing the indigenous local homes till you reach the local beer producers. After your local beer visit you will then proceeds to Mkussu forest that has vast species of trees, flora and fauna, colorful birds, butterflies, Chameleons, insects, black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and beautiful valleys rolling before your eyes.

KWEMASHAI VIEWPOINT

We exit the Mkussu forest and hike till you reach this blissful and amazing viewpoint of Kwemashai.
The viewpoint is situated at 1,705M where Lushoto town suburbs lies at its foot. From this peak you will easily spot most of Lushoto buildings, Lushoto entering main road and its inhabitants.
Your picnic lunch will be served at this awesome viewpoint.
This viewpoint is the perfect place to experience the Usambara mountains sunrises which usually occurs between 07:00 – 07:30am though it depends with weather of the particular day.

You will then descend to Kisasa waterfalls a longest and awesome waterfalls around Lushoto township. You will pass through Vuli and Mbula Mamoyo villages spot the locals and their way of living to the waterfalls.
Kisasa waterfalls is located on the steep slopes of Usambara mountains at Komsala village nature areas, the waterfalls lies at a height of 75 meters where you will see the water fast falling, bumping and jumping into big solid rocks a thing that bring an awesome feelings of the Usambara mountains nature
