DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT LUSHOTO
Upon arrival at Lushoto Bus Terminal, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your selected accommodation.
Take time to relax and enjoy the cool mountain climate as you prepare for the adventure ahead. Dinner will be served at your lodge.

DAY 2 : DEPARTURE FROM LUSHOTO TOWN
Meet your guide at your hotel and start your scenic hike through the beautiful Usambara Mountains.
08:30 AM – 1:00 PM – Guided Hike through Magamba Village and Forest Landscape
The trail follows quiet footpaths from Lushoto through Magamba Village, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience local life and the natural beauty of the Usambara Mountains.
Along the route, visitors will:
• Pass through traditional indigenous farms where local communities cultivate vegetables, fruits, maize, beans and other crops.
• Learn about sustainable farming practices in the Usambara Mountains.
• Walk through sections of indigenous and plantation forest rich in biodiversity.
• Observe local bird species, butterflies and native vegetation.
• Enjoy panoramic views of valleys, hills and rural villages.
The guide will provide interpretation on the area’s ecology, history and culture.
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM – MITI ASILIA ADVENTURE PARK EXPERIENCE
Arrive at Miti Asilia Adventure Park for an exciting treetop adventure.
Activities Include:-
ZIPLINE ADVENTURE
• Experience thrilling ziplines ranging from 5 to 30 meters in length.
• Glide through the forest canopy while enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
CHALLENGE COURSE
• Navigate a series of suspended obstacles and bridges connecting tree platforms.
• Test your balance, coordination and confidence.
• All participants are fitted with harnesses and remain securely attached to a high-grade steel safety cable throughout the activity.
A comprehensive safety briefing and equipment fitting will be conducted by qualified instructors before the activities begin.
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Forest Lunch Break
Enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the peaceful forest environment while taking in the fresh mountain air.
3:00 PM – 3:10 PM – GUIDED WALK TO MKUZI WATERFALLS
Activities include:-
• Waterfall viewing and photography.
• Nature appreciation and relaxation.
• Environmental interpretation by the guide.
• Time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the falls.
04:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Hike to the main road for getting your transfer to Lushoto town/your lodge
