Generally, the land laws prescribe that all land in Tanzania is public land and entrusted to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania. A foreigner cannot own land under the laws of Tanzania unless it is for investment purposes and through derivative rights issued by Tanzania government body to a foreign investor who has officially registered a project.

How much capital do investors need to register the project with the Tanzania government body?
